Empowering Senior Leaders
Suffolk Association of Headteachers (SASH) is committed to supporting and representing leaders across the county. With over 90 school and college leaders across Suffolk, SASH champions the work arguably the most influential in this large and diverse county.
SASH represents Headteachers and Principals through the media, consultations, key meetings with the Local Authority, feeding back your views on key strategic areas. We attend peer to peer (SLIN), SEP, SEND meetings on your behalf.
We are regularly contacted by news organisations to share perspectives of Headteachers on key education issues. Whether it be both local and national BBC, The East Anglian Daily Times, Times radio, LBC, Greatest Hits radio, The times or numerous others Suffolk Headteachers are seen and heard.
We regularly ask for feedback on topics that affect you or which you have an impact on.
Through our extensive network of educational experts and Suffolk Heads, we are able to offer independant and confidential help for leaders at whatever stage in their leadership journey
SASH holds termly conference across the county, giving members an an opportunity to network, discuss topics and to hear from a variety of high quality keynote speakers. For many the summer conference is the key point in the year that colleagues get a chance to learn and share together. making those connections that are not always possible during the unrelenting work schedules.
